Not long after launching her designer and design-your-own jewelry business Femmegems, founder Lindsay Cain noticed that little girls were clamoring to create their own jewels just like their stylish mommies (big surprise!). There was a gap in the market-- "Almost immediately, I was approached by cool moms looking for unique, imaginative activities for their daughters. On the weekends, we were visited by throngs of mother/daughter duos and moms were booking our adult-formatted parties for their girls! We swapped cupcakes for champagne, and they were all having a blast!"

With the interest in creative children's entertainment opportunities in Fairfield and Westchester counties (ranging from paint-your-own-pottery to how-to-be-a-princess classes) ever growing, sophisticated jewelry-making parties for young ladies was an obvious extension of the Femmegems brand. And so, Little Sparklers was hatched.
