Little Sparklers: About Us

Not long after launching her successful design-your-own gemstone jewelry business Femmegems, founder Lindsay Cain noticed that little girls were clamoring to create their own jewels just like their stylish mommies (big surprise!). There was a gap in the market-"Almost immediately, I was approached by hip women looking for unique, imaginative activities for their kids. On the weekends, we were visited by tons of mother/daughter duos and moms were booking our adult-formatted parties for their girls and substituting cupcakes for champagne, and they were all having a blast!"

With the interest in creative children's entertainment opportunities in New York City (ranging from paint-your-own-pottery to how-to-be-a-princess classes) ever growing, beading and jewelry-making parties for kids were an obvious extension of the Femmegems brand.
